Established in 1996, Get A Grip Grab Bars, Inc. has continued to enjoy growth and success. We are proud to announce that we are now offering our services in the Northern Florida region, in Duval and Clay Counties, through a new branch office.

We continue to service the counties of Lee, Charlotte, Collier, Hendry, Desoto, Manatee, Hardee, Glades, Polk, Hillsborough, Pinellas and Sarasota through our corporate headquarters in Fort Myers, and will continue to expand to meet the needs of our customers.

Founder Terrell Sletten is a licensed general contractor in the State of Florida (#CGC058279).

He is certified by NAHB as a certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS). Terrell offers a full array of home modifications and has more than 25 years of experience in the building industry. He has personally trained his installation staff.

Co-founder Marva Sletten, a registered Physical Therapist is available to provide professional expertise to further ensure clients’ safety needs.

CERTIFICATIONS

We have National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) certification for CAPS (Certified Aging in Place). With this training and Certification, we possess additional training and tools to understand and provide services for aging individuals who wish to remain in their homes.
